Danny Vroegop is the co-founder and CIO of Colesco Capital, where he serves as the chair of the board and the investment committee. Before founding Colesco, he was responsible for Rabobank Group's global leveraged finance activities and private equity client base. Vroegop holds an executive MBA from IMD and an MSc in International Finance from the University of Amsterdam.

Markus Schaen recently joined BrandNewDay in Amsterdam where he works for the investment office and will be responsible for setting up and managing the return portfolio. Prior to his new role, he worked 18 years at MN as Principal Fixed Income. At MN, he was responsible for various products in the liquid and illiquid fixed income portfolio, he co designed investment strategies and executed several manager searches, i.e. for infrastructure debt, private debt, Dutch mortgages, EU & US investment grade and High Yield. Previously, he held positions at Maastricht University, Deloitte, Metro AG, Draka Holding, and Koninklijke Wegener NV. Schaen obtained his Master’s degree in Business Economics from Maastricht University, where he also completed the Postgraduate Accountancy programme. In addition, he pursued a Postgraduate degree in Treasury Management at VU Amsterdam and completed the Executive Pensions Programme at Nyenrode Business University.

Menno van den Elsaker is Head of Alternative Credits and Dutch Mortgages at APG Asset Management. Since 2017 he has been leading the development of Alternative Credits and Dutch Mortgages into stand-alone investment products, which are included in the strategic asset allocation of APG’s clients. With 23 years of investment experience, Van den Elsaker has global responsibility for all illiquid and private debt investments. He joined APG in 2002 and prior to the current role, he was Head of European ABS and responsible for European securitization and mortgage investments. Van den Elsaker is a member of the management team of Fixed Income at APG and a member of APG’s investment committee for capital market and private market investments. He has a MSc in Financial Econometrics from the University in Amsterdam and is a CFA charterholder.
