    Head of Private Debt, Pictet Asset Management

    Andreas Klein is the Head of the Private Debt platform at Pictet Asset Management, which he joined in 2022. He brings over 20 years of credit experience with him. He was previously a Managing Director at ICG where he spent the best part of a decade helping set-up and build-out the direct lending strategy. Klein is an MBA graduate of the McCombs business school at the University of Texas in Austin in the US and holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Warwick in the UK. He is also a holder of the CFA ESG certificate.

    Bob Homan is sinds 2008 Hoofd van het Investment Office van ING en daarmee eindverantwoordelijk voor het beleggingsbeleid van ING voor haar Nederlandse klanten. Hij startte zijn carrière bij de Postbank en werkte voor zijn overstap naar ING bij diverse vermogensbeheerders. In de media is hij het gezicht van ING wanneer het om beleggen gaat. Homan studeerde Economie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam.

    Christophe Fritsch is Global Head of Alternative Credit at AXA IM Alts and member of the AXA IM Alts Management Board. As head of the Alternative Credit business, he oversees the Portfolio Management of a performing and diversified range of alternative assets, covering the entire risk/return spectrum. Before this role, he was Head of Fund Management at AXA IM Alts’ Structured Finance Department since 2014. He was one of the founding members who contributed to the development of the Structured Finance platform (renamed Alternative Credit platform in 2022). Fritsch joined AXA IM in 2000. He graduated from ENSAE with a major in Stochastic Modelling, Statistics, Finance and Actuarial Science.

    Jacqueline van den Ende is co-founder and CEO of Carbon Equity, a European climate venture capital and private equity fund investing platform. She has an extensive background as a private equity investor, venture capital partner and serial entrepreneur. She was a partner at Peak, a private equity investor at HAL Investments and was involved in building several companies, including De Kleine Consultant, online real estate marketplace Lamudi in South East Asia and fintech scale up TrueMoney. Van den Ende received an MSc in International Economics and Business from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

    James Ashley is Head of International Macro/Market Strategy in the Strategic Advisory Solutions team of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He is responsible for providing international capital markets research, macro strategy and implementation ideas to CIOs, fund selection teams and investment committees across retail and institutional investors in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

    Koen Ronda is Head of Private Markets Investments bij IBS Capital Management. Hij is verantwoordelijk voor de private markets investments van IBS Fund Management, onderdeel van IBS Capital Allies. Op het IBS Private Markets Platform wordt cliënten via IBS fund of funds exposure gegeven tot institutionele investeringen en managers binnen private equity, private debt en infrastructure assets. IBS doet dit via fondsinvesteringen en directe co-investments in samenwerking met private equity managers. Eerder was Ronda bij IBS Portfolio Manager bij het beursgenoteerde team.

    Lalantika Medema is an Executive Vice President and Alternative Credit Strategist in the Newport Beach office of Pimco, responsible for credit alternatives and mortgage- and real-estate-related strategies. Previously, she worked in the portfolio management group and focused on mortgage-backed securities and residential whole loans. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, she worked at Deutsche Bank’s Trust & Securities Services Division, specializing in collateralized debt obligations (CDOs). She has 20 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. She also received an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.

    Luc Aben has been working in the field of asset management and asset advice in the Netherlands and Belgium since 1992, including 23 years at Van Lanschot Kempen. He started his career as an Equity Analyst, gradually moving towards macroeconomics and investment strategy. Since 2012 he is Chief Economist of Van Lanschot Kempen. In this role he is co-responsible for allocation choices in asset management and investment advice. He also provides economic input for steering the bank's own balance sheet.

    Lukas Daalder is the Chief Investment Strategist for the Netherlands within the BlackRock Investment Institute. Prior to joining Blackrock in 2018, Daalder was the CIO of Robeco Investment Solutions, heading the multi-asset team for Robeco. Previously he has worked as a Delta One Trader within a Dutch derivatives market maker, Head of Research of a sell-side equity team, Strategist of a fixed income team and an Economist. He publishes a weekly column in Het Financieele Dagblad.

    Niels Las is an Associate Director in the Credit and Insurance Linked Investments team at PGGM. The team focuses on both credit risk sharing investments, where it takes first-loss positions in synthetic securitisations of bank loans, and on investments through which it participates in natural catastrophe risk. Previously, Las was involved in setting up the impact-focused allocation within PGGM’s Private Equity team. He holds a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Radboud University Nijmegen and is a CFA charterholder.

    Olaf van den Heuvel, CFA, CIO Aegon Asset Management NL and Head of Tactical Asset Allocation, joined Aegon Asset Management in 2000 as portfolio manager for Pacific Equities and strategist. Since 2007, Van den Heuvel has led the Multi Asset team, responsible for the multi asset mandates, asset allocation and strategic views on asset classes for Aegon Asset Management in the Netherlands. He has been a member of the global asset allocation voting committee since 2014. Van den Heuvel studied Economics at Tilburg University, the Netherlands, and is a CFA charterholder.

    Richard Damming heads Schroders Capital Private Equity Investment activities in Europe across direct/co-investments, primaries and secondaries. He is also on the advisory board of several leading European fund managers. Before joining Schroders in 2011, Richard worked at Capvent AG, a Zurich based private equity fund of funds firm. From 2006 to 2009, he was an Associate in the Corporate Finance team of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Zurich. He was also a controller and corporate M&A Analyst for ABB Ltd. from 2004 to 2005. Damming holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Corporate Finance from Bocconi University Milan, Italy.

In zijn huidige rol als Hoofd Maatwerkoplossingen bij Bank ten Cate richt hij zich met zijn team op het beleggingsbeleid en portefeuillebeheer voor de grotere cliënten van de bank met wensen die afwijken van de reguliere propositie van de bank.

Prior to 2015, he was a Portfolio Manager Credits at MN and Credit Analyst with ABN Amro Asset Management. Kroon holds a master degree in Economics from the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam.

    Steve Weeple is the Client Portfolio Manager for several Global and Emerging Market equity strategies at Janus Henderson Investors. Prior to this, he was a portfolio manager on the UK-based Global Equities Team. He joined Janus Henderson in 2017 after 16 years at Standard Life Investments, where he held a number of senior positions, including Global Equity Portfolio Manager, Director of Equity Research, and Head of US Equities. Weeple earned an MA (Hons) in Economics and International Relations from the University of St Andrews and a diploma in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling. He has 26 years of financial industry experience managing institutional and retail client assets.
  17. Thomas Heidstra

    Thomas Heidstra is Director Investment at the Univest Company, Unilever's in-house central investment services company. Heidstra has 20 years of industry experience and started this career at ABN AMRO where he was a junior equity analyst in the Emerging Markets Telecoms team. In 2001, he joined the Pan European Small and Mid Cap team of JPMorgan Cazenove. From 2004-2006 he worked at Rabo Securities as Senior Account manager responsible for UK accounts. In 2006 Heidstra joined Theta Capital. Following the take-over of Theta Capital by Rothschild in 2012, he joined Univest Company in 2012 to restructure the hedge fund investments of various large Unilever pension plants and manage the transition from a pure fund of funds model towards a fully direct investment program. Right now, Heidstra is responsible for the investment team of Univest.

She is also doing PhD research on ESG in private equity and venture capital at VU University Amsterdam since 2021. Her previous positions include Investment Consultant at Gilde Investment Management and Management Consultant at Kearney. She studied Econometrics at the University of Amsterdam
  19. Wouter Weijand

    Wouter Weijand

    Wouter Weijand is sinds juni 2016 verbonden aan Providence Capital als Chief Investment Officer en leidt het Investment Committee. Hij studeerde Algemene Economie aan de Erasmus Universiteit in Rotterdam. Weijand leerde het beleggingsvak bij Pierson van ’83-’89. Daarna volgde 26 jaar bij ABN AMRO Asset Management en rechtsopvolgers FIM en BNP IP. Hij leidde daar achtereenvolgens het Euro Fixed Income team, het wereldwijde Property team en ten slotte het wereldwijde Hoog Dividend Aandelen team.
