Job Hekhuis joins Amundi as Senior Retirement Solutions Strategist.
Before joining Amundi, he spent 27 years at Shell Asset Management Company. Hekhuis started his career in fixed income and managed LDI, rates/government bond and emerging market debt portfolios, before leading the corporate credit (investment grade and high yield) team.
He subsequently moved into investment strategy, advising pension fund trustee boards and investment committees directly on long-term investment strategy, covering strategic asset allocation, ALM, LDI and implementation. In this role, he worked with Shell pension funds in the Netherlands, UK, US, Canada, Bermuda and Germany as well as with a Swiss captive insurance company.
Hekhuis holds a master's degree in Financial Economics and a postgraduate degree in Financial and Investment Analysis from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
