What is your (professional) life motto and why?
‘My life motto is that you are responsible for your own happiness. If you have a particular ambition, speak it out loud and take action to achieve it. As soon as you say it out loud, people will know what you want and you’ll see that things start to happen.’
What reading, listening or viewing recommendations do you have for our readers, and why?
‘Geert Mak’s book *De Wisselwachter* offers valuable insights into the period leading up to the Second World War. In particular, it shows that the impossible and the unreal can nevertheless become reality. So make sure you always take different perspectives into account when making decisions. I also enjoy listening to *De Ongelooflijke Podcast* with Beatrice de Graaf, in which she shares her insights on various topics.’
