Simon Wiersma has over 25 years of professional investment experience and has been an Investment Manager at ING Investment Office since 2009. In this role, he is jointly responsible for the tactical investment policy of ING Asset Management's investment strategies. Previously, he worked as an Asset Manager, Portfolio Manager and Fixed Income Analyst.
What is your (business) motto and why?
'Believe in yourself! You can do more than you think. The financial industry employs an incredible number of smart and talented people. I have learned that with a little logical thinking, Dutch pragmatism, common sense, guts and hard work, you can achieve great investment results. Don't be distracted by what others think and say.'
