Katsunori Yokomaku appointed to MUFG Bank (Europe) Supervisory Board

MUFG Bank (Europe) N.V. has appointed Katsunori (Kats) Yokomaku as Vice Chairman of its Supervisory Board.

Yokomaku joined MUFG in 1992 and his close to 30 years of experience spans roles in Japan, Singapore, the US and the UK. This includes senior leadership positions such as Chief Manager of Regulatory Affairs, Deputy Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief Financial Officer for MUFG Americas and Global Head of Internal Audit. He also currently holds the position of Deputy Regional Executive for EMEA, supporting the CEO for EMEA, MUFG Bank and Securities with governance matters within the region.

Yokomaku has also held various roles within the Japanese Bankers Association (JBA), including Chief of Staff to the Chairman of JBA, taking responsibility of leading the Japanese banker’s activities in Japan in 2016.

As Vice Chairman of MUFG Bank (Europe)’s Supervisory Board, Yokomaku succeeds Takanori Sazaki, who is now MUFG Bank’s Regional Executive for the Asia Pacific region.
