Maarten van der Spek
Maarten van der Spek is Founder of Spek Advisory, an independent consulting firm focused on optimising the risk-return profile of private investment portfolios. In addition, he is Adjunct Professor in Real Estate at TIAS Schoool for Business and Society. His previous positions include Head of Strategy at BNP Paribas Real Estate, Senior Strategist at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Director Strategy Private Real Estate at PGGM Investments. Van der Spek obtained his MSc in Econometrics from the VU University of Amsterdam and his PhD in Real Estate from Tilburg University.
