About Lunch Webinar Discussion 'Biodiversity'
Lunch Webinar Discussion 'Biodiversity'
Loss of nature poses financial risks, but biodiversity also offers opportunities. Even so, many investors are still working out how to translate this theme into concrete investment decisions.
On Wednesday 18 November 2026, from 12 to 13 pm specialists will meet in a Lunch Webinar Discussion to discuss the role ‘biodiversity’ can play in the portfolio.
Is it mainly a risk theme, an impact theme or a source of return? Which instruments can investors use to create impact, and what role do listed investments play? And should the focus be on protecting, preserving or restoring nature?
The practical side will also be covered. Which risks should investors take into account? How do you assess whether an investment is both financially viable and ecologically impactful? And is the available data robust enough to inform investment decisions?
Participants in the discussion are:
- Marjolein Meulensteen, Senior Portfolio Manager Sustainabe Investing, a.s.r. vermogensbeheer
- Guido Veul, Sustainability & Impact Investing Specialist, AF Advisors
The discussion will be led by Harry Geels, Economist & Senior Investment Advisor, Auréus
