    Carlos von Hardenberg founded MCP Emerging Markets and has been the Portfolio Manager since inception in 2018. Von Hardenberg has nearly 25 years of experience in financial markets and was previously at Franklin Templeton where he managed country, regional, and global emerging and frontier market portfolios as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the Templeton Emerging Markets Group. In 2015, von Hardenberg was appointed lead manager of the LSE-listed Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust PLC.

Previously, Passmoor worked for 6 years at Duet Asset Management an Africa focused fund. She began her career at JPMorgan joining the Equity research team in Johannesburg. Passmoor has a BCom Investment Management and an Honours in Econometrics from the University of Johannesburg, in South Africa.

    Louis-Vincent Gave is Founding Partner en Chief Executive Officer of Gavekal. After receiving his bachelor's degree from Duke University and studying Mandarin at Nanjing University, he firstly joined the French Army and then joined Paribas to work as a Financial Analyst. He left Paribas in 2000 to launch Gavekal with his father Charles and Anatole Kaletsky. Gave is the non-executive Chairman of Roboglobal LLC is also a non-executive Director at Evergreen-Gavekal, a Bellevue, Washington-based private wealth manager. Gave also sits on the visiting board of Trinity College of Duke University. He has written seven books, the latest being Avoiding the Punch: Investing in Uncertain Times.

    Michaël Vander Elst joined DPAM in 2018 with 36 years of industry experience. Prior to his current role as Fund Manager for Emerging Market Bonds, he worked at AXA Bank Europe as an Investment Portfolio Management & ALM expert. Before that, he held several key positions, including Head of Government Bond Trading at ABN AMRO in the Netherlands, Global Head of Principal Strategies at BNP Paribas (previously Fortis Belgium), and Head of Government Bond Trading at BNP Paribas (previously Fortis Belgium). He also worked as a Senior Bond and Swaps Trader at ABN AMRO and as a Sales/Trader for Belgian Equities & Bonds at ING (previously BBL). Vander Elst holds a Master’s in Applied Economics and Diplomatic Sciences from KU Leuven (University of Leuven, Belgium).

    René van der Zeeuw is zelfstandig Board en beleggingsadviseur. Hij begon zijn carrière in 1988 bij Robeco alwaar hij in 1994 een van de oprichters was van het succesvolle Emerging Markets team. Van 2008 tot 2023 was van der Zeeuw werkzaam bij APG Asset Management. Hij heeft daar het Emerging Markets aandelen team opgebouwd -inclusief een strategisch samenwerkingsverband met een lokale Chinese Asset Manager- en was de laatste vier jaar verantwoordelijk voor Global Fundamental Equities (Developed en Emerging Markets). Van 2015-2020 was van der Zeeuw bestuurder bij het personeelspensioenfonds van APG.

Van den Brink volgt de ontwikkelingen rondom pensioen en geeft regelmatig inhoudelijk commentaar via artikelen in diverse media.

    Sandy Pei re-joined Federated Hermes Limited in July 2013 as a Senior Analyst responsible for idea generation for the Asia ex-Japan strategy; she became Deputy Portfolio Manager of the strategy in July 2014. She joined from Ninety One, where she was part of a two-person team dedicated to managing the Ninety One Asia ex-Japan Equity Strategy. Pei was previously an analyst at Federated Hermes Limited for the Federated Hermes Global Emerging Markets team between 2009 and 2011. She holds an MSc in Quantitative Finance from the Cass Business School and a BSc in Economics from University College London. Pei is a CFA charterholder and is a native Mandarin speaker.

    Tim Crijns is fondsmanager van Triodos Microfinance Fund en Triodos Emerging Markets Renewable Energy Fund. Hij werkt sinds 2016 bij Triodos Investment Management en begon in 2014 bij Triodos Bank als corporate secretary. Eerder deed Crijns twee jaar ontwikkelingswerk in Tanzania en daarvoor was hij advocaat bij Clifford Chance en ING Bank. Crijns heeft rechten gestudeerd aan de Radboud Universiteit en bedrijfskunde aan de Erasmus Universiteit. Hij is ook lid van de Raad van Toezicht van 3Bank Servië.
