Arnoud van Heuveln
Arnoud van Heuveln is toezichthouder Asset Management bij de AFM, met focus op marktoegang van financiële ondernemingen zoals beheerders van beleggingsinstellingen en beleggingsondernemingen. Hij volgt de ontwikkeling van AI binnen toezicht en de asset management sector met oog voor zowel kansen als potentiële risico’s, in een domein waar technologische toepassingen nog volop in beweging zijn. Voorafgaand aan zijn rol bij de AFM was van Heuveln actief als consultant in de financiële sector. -
Evgenia Gvozdeva
Evgenia Gvozdeva is the Head of Research at Russell Investments. Her responsibilities span public and private manager research, quantitative research and development, investment strategy, sustainable investing, and investment practice and analytics. Prior to her current role, Gvozdeva served as Senior Director of Research & Development, where she contributed to the design and enhancement of investment strategies across equities, fixed income, SMAs, tax-managed overlays, responsible investing solutions, and portfolio transitions. She also helped improve the firm’s investment analytics and led thought leadership initiatives to elevate the firm’s intellectual capital. Previously, Gvozdeva was a Senior Quantitative Research Analyst. She joined Russell Investments in 2009 as a Forecasting Portfolio Strategist, focusing on long-term forecasting, simulation, and strategic capital markets research. Before joining Russell Investments, Gvozdeva completed her Ph.D. in Finance at the University of Houston. Earlier in her career, she worked as an analyst at URALSIB, one of Russia’s largest financial corporations. -
Felix Mantz
Felix Mantz is a pensions actuary by background, who joined Cardano Advisory (formerly Lincoln Pensions) as a specialist credit risk advisor in 2016 from Wilis Towers Watson. Since 2019, Mantz has been leading Cardano Advisory’s AI and innovation projects, launching award-winning solutions using both predictive and generative AI. This includes the AI powered credit rating and news monitoring portal Discover, the interactive training suite Dear Sam, and a range of further tools and solutions. -
Jeroen Tielman

Jeroen M. Tielman is Head of Institutional Relations at Theta Blockchain Ventures by Theta Capital, guiding institutional investors through the opportunities and complexities of blockchain and digital assets. Daarnaast heeft hij expertise op het gebied van ALM, kredietrisico, marktrisico, Basel, Solvency II, IORP II en modelrisicomanagement. Eerder was Poppe verantwoordelijk voor Group Risk Management bij SNS REAAL (2004-2013) en Group Risk Management bij Robeco (1996-2004). -
Tessa Sprokkel
Tessa Sprokkel is senior toezichthouder Asset Management bij de AFM. In haar rol als verkenner volgt ze technologische ontwikkelingen binnen de sector, waaronder AI. Ze houdt zich bezig met marktuitvragen en het verkennen van mogelijke toepassingen en risico’s van AI binnen het toezichtdomein. Voor haar tijd bij de AFM werkte Sprokkel bij de centrale bank van Singapore, en ze heeft ervaring in zowel het bankwezen als de consultancy. -
Valentijn van Nieuwenhuijzen

Valentijn van Nieuwenhuijzen is onafhankelijk investment advisor en columnist. Tot november 2024 was hij werkzaam als Global Head of Sustainability and Global Co-Head Multi Asset Solutions bij Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Eerder, van 2017 tot 2022 was hij CIO van NN Investment Partners. Van Nieuwenhuijzen heeft ruim 25 jaar ervaring in de beleggingsindustrie en studeerde Economie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. -
Volker Flögel
CIO, Managing Partner, Quoniam Asset Management
Volker is responsible for Quoniam’s Investments division, which includes Research, Portfolio Management and Trading. He also leads the Portfolio Management department and the Sustainable Investing Committee. Volker joined Quoniam in March 2006 and has held various roles including equity portfolio manager and later Head of Research. Before joining Quoniam, he worked as a consultant at alpha portfolio advisors GmbH. Volker holds a degree in business administration from the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich and a doctorate from the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel.
