Marcel Danen appointed Head of Intermediary Client Coverage Netherlands at SSIM
Marcel Danen has been appointed Head of Intermediary Client Coverage for the Netherlands at State Street Investment Management. In his new role, he oversees relationship management, business development and the distribution strategy targeting financial intermediaries in the Dutch market while aligning with State Street IM’s broader Northern European and global strategy.
Danen brings nearly 20 years of sales and relationship management experience in both Europe and Asia. He joins State Street Investment Management from UBS Asset Management, where he spent more than a decade being responsible for ETF and index fund distribution in the Benelux and was a member of the ETF & Index Fund Client Coverage leadership team and country management committee. Prior to UBS AM, Danen held sales roles at Vanguard in the Netherlands and ABN Amro Asset Management in Singapore covering a broad range of clients. Danen holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
