Thomas Brand appointed Managing Director Business Development Germany & Austria at Anthos
Thomas Brand has joined Anthos Fund & Asset Management ('Anthos') as Managing Director Business Development Germany and Austria as of 1 October, 2023.
Brand has a long time experience in the asset management industry, which he gained at several well-known names. His latest position was at Jyske Bank A/S, where he was Head of institutional Business for the DACH region. He set up and developed the business of the bank in the German speaking region since 2017.
Prior to this, Brand fulfilled business development roles at Société Générale, Siemens Financial Services, Helaba, Citibank and Danske Bank. Thomas started his career in treasury roles and slowly turned to the asset management and business development side of the businesses.
Brand's appointment follows Anthos’ wish to strengthen its presence in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), where it would like to contribute to further developing fiduciary and multi-management services to like-minded asset owners. Anthos has acquired, among others, a charity, a Swiss institutional investor, a number of European families and several faith-based organisations in Germany as clients.
