Dr Denisa Čumova appointed as Head of Portfolio Management & Quantitative Research Germany by La Française
La Française is pleased to announce the hire of Dr Denisa Čumovaas Head of Portfolio Management & Quantitative Research, reporting to Dennis Jeske, Managing Director Portfolio Management of La Française Systematic Asset Management GmbH. Dr Čumovawill drive portfolio management and research activities in Germany and further expand systematic strategies.
Dr Čumova has eighteen years of experience in portfolio management beginning in 2004 with Berenberg as an equity and multi-asset portfolio manager. In 2008, she was promoted to Head of Total Return Management, in charge of absolute return and volatility strategies. In 2017, Dr Čumova was named Head of Quantitative Research for Berenberg Bank Wealth & Asset Management, where she was responsible for the development of systematic investment and risk management strategies for institutional investors.
Dr Čumova holds a Doctorate degree in Economics with a concentration in Asset Management from Chemnitz University of Technology.
