Jacob Binnema aangesteld als Director en Head of Public Securitisation Europe bij MUFG
Begin februari is Jacob Binnema bij MUFG in dienst getreden als Director en Head of Public Securitisation Europe. Deze functie is nieuw gecreëerd voor het EMEA-team Securitised Products & Supply Chain Finance. Vanuit Amsterdam richt Jacob Binnema zich op transacties voor de publieke securitisatiemarkt waarbij MUFG optreedt als arranger en/of underwriter.
Jacob Binnema begon zijn carrière bij ABN AMRO en stapte later over naar Rabobank International. Voorafgaand aan MUFG was hij Head of Structured Solutions Germany bij ING Duitsland, waar hij werkte aan het opzetten en ontwikkelen van ING's asset-based finance platform.
Jacob Binnema rapporteert binnen MUFG aan Mark Escott, hoofd van het Securitised Products & Supply Chain Finance-team voor EMEA in Londen, en lokaal aan Yashima Akanuma, CEO MUFG Securities Europe.
Mark Escott: “Jacob heeft veel ervaring met securitisatie, zowel op de publieke als op de private markten, wat hem heel geschikt maakt voor deze nieuwe rol in ons Europese team. De business van MUFG Securitised Products is aanzienlijk gegroeid en Jacobs rol wordt van cruciaal belang voor ons verdere productaanbod.”
