Dewi Walian joins Clifford Chance in Amsterdam
Clifford Chance Amsterdam boosts its Financial Markets Group with the hire of Dewi Walian as Counsel. She has extensive experience in debt capital markets and has an excellent reputation for her ability to provide tailor-made advice in high yield, convertible, investment grade and regulatory driven debt offerings and restructurings.
Walian joins Clifford Chance from NautaDutilh, where she worked since 2011 and was appointed Counsel in April 2020. Previously, she spent two years (2015-2016) in London, where she further expanded her extensive experience in international top-tier capital markets transactions.
She has also been on secondment in the Legal Financial Markets Team at Rabobank (2013) and the ECM and DCM Teams at ABN AMRO (2020). In 2015, Walian captured the third place on the Best Young Professionals Law Top 50 list, making her the highest ranked woman on the list. She graduated in Law from the University of Amsterdam in 2010.
