Clemens Braams is in september 2020 bij Achmea Investment Management begonnen als Lead Portfolio Manager Illiquid Fixed Income en is verantwoordelijk voor het opzetten van de illiquide vastrentende- en impactstrategieën. Daarvoor werkte hij als Credit Portfolio Manager bij NIB Capital Asset Management. Na het afronden van zijn studie Bedrijfseconomie met als afstudeerrichting Financiering & Belegging aan de Erasmus Universiteit in Rotterdam in 1999, werkte hij als credit portefeuillemanager bij ABP, MN en Delta Lloyd, waarvan de laatste 10 jaar als Lead Portefeuille Manager Illiquid Fixed Income. Braams is een CFA Charterholder. -
Marcin Lenart
Expert Portfolio Manager Alternative Credits, APG Asset Management
Marcin Lenart has over 22 years of international experience in debt financing and equity investment. Lenart joined APG Asset Management back in 2013. Currently he is responsible for the selection and monitoring of external managers in the field of Alternative Credits. He acts as a Responsible Investing Lead for Alternative Credits, and represents APG in Private Debt Advisory Committee of UN PRI. Prior to APG, he had 12 years of international structured finance experience at Deutsche Bank, ING Bank and Citibank. Lenart holds a MSc in Economics / Econometrics from Warsaw University and earned CAIA designation. -
Markus Schaen
Senior Investment Manager, BrandNewDay
Markus Schaen joined BrandNewDay in 2025, where he works for the investment office. He is responsible for setting up and managing the return portfolio. Prior to this, he worked 18 years at MN as Principal Fixed Income. At MN, he was responsible for various products in the liquid and illiquid fixed income portfolio, he co designed investment strategies and executed several manager searches, i.e. for infrastructure debt, private debt, Dutch mortgages, EU & US investment grade and High Yield. Previously, he held positions at Maastricht University, Deloitte, Metro AG, Draka Holding, and Koninklijke Wegener NV. Schaen obtained his Master’s degree in Business Economics from Maastricht University, where he also completed the Postgraduate Accountancy programme. In addition, he pursued a Postgraduate degree in Treasury Management at VU Amsterdam and completed the Executive Pensions Programme at Nyenrode Business University.
