John Longhurst Joins the Firm as Head of Emerging Markets Equity Research 

LONDON, 12 October, 2011:  PIMCO, a leading global investment management firm, has completed its emerging markets equity team with the hiring of five new investment professionals in its London, New York and Singapore offices.

The new personnel are: John Longhurst, Senior Vice President and Head of Emerging Markets Equity Research, based in the London office; Richard Flax, Senior Vice President and Emerging Markets Equity Analyst, also based in the London office; Andrew Pyne, Senior Vice President and Emerging Markets Equity Product Manager based in the New York office; Raymond Goh, Equity Trader based in the Singapore office; and Laura Schlockman, Equity Product Manager based in the New York office.
