SECOR’s London office will be led by Jeroen Wilbrink and Thierry Bollier, both partners of the firm. Mr. Wilbrink will oversee SECOR’s European advisory and portfolio solutions businesses. He joined SECOR in 2011 from F&C Asset Management in London where he was responsible for European liability-driven investing (LDI) and fiduciary management product and market development. Mr. Bollier also joined SECOR in 2011 and is an industry veteran whose career in portfolio management, research and risk management spans almost three decades. He will focus on firm-wide risk management and research, as well as the development of SECOR’s alpha strategies and portfolio solutions businesses. “Our team has a long and successful history of managing pan-European pension assets and advising pensions on every aspect of their portfolios,” said Tony Kao, SECOR’s Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer. “We know there is no substitute for local knowledge and seasoned professionals on the ground.” Mr. Wilbrink added, “SECOR offers a unique service in the European market—deep experience advising pension clients in seven different European jurisdictions and regulatory environments, making our fiduciary offering truly European. In addition, members of our advisory team work directly alongside our clients. With SECOR, trustees don't outsource the management of their scheme, but rather in-source our expertise. I am truly proud to be part of the SECOR organisation.” SECOR was founded by Tony Kao, former Chief Investment Officer of General Motors Asset Management, and Raymond Iwanowski, former Co-Head of the Quantitative Investment Strategies group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. |
