Calamos Investments names Geoffrey Davis Senior Vice President, Head of Intermediary Distribution - EMEA

Calamos Investments has named Geoffrey Davis Senior Vice President, Head of Intermediary Distribution for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) effective July 11, 2011. Mr. Davis will be based in the Calamos London office and will be responsible for Calamos’ intermediary business in EMEA, managing the firm’s existing client base as well as building new distribution relationships with investment professionals and financial advisors in the region.

Mr. Davis comes to Calamos from Threadneedle Asset Management, where he spent the last three years as Director of the Global Financial Institutions Group based in London. Prior to joining Threadneedle, Mr. Davis spent six years with Invesco in Milan, Italy as Head of Marketing and Communications for Continental Europe. He brings to the firm more than 13 years of industry experience. Mr. Davis received his degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
