Threadneedle Investments, a leading international asset manager, has appointed Toby Nangle as Head of Multi-Asset reporting to Mark Burgess, Chief Investment Officer.  Toby will join in January 2012 and will be based in London.

Toby’s responsibilities will focus on growing the already substantial multi-asset franchise at Threadneedle capitalising on its outstanding long term track record in this area. He will work closely with the existing asset allocation team to further enhance the process and focus on new and existing product design. In this role he will work alongside Alex Lyle, Head of Managed Funds.

Prior to joining Threadneedle Investments Toby was a Director of both the Multi Asset and Fixed Income Teams at Baring Asset Management. He joined Baring’s fixed income team in 1997 and held various positions including Head of Global Aggregate Fixed Income, and since 2007 has been member of the firm’s asset allocation group, and has managed multi-asset portfolios.
