Schroders has strengthened its manager selection team within its £31.5 billion FUM Multi-Asset business by appointing Rob Hall to the newly created role of Head of Manager Selection.  He joins from Russell Investments with over 23 years’ industry experience and 20 years in manager research and selection.  Rob will work with a well established team of existing research analysts to deliver a high-quality manager selection capability.   Johanna Kyrklund, Head of Multi-Asset Investment, comments: “As part of our Multi-Asset offering we have already embraced a degree of open architecture which is essential to delivering credible solutions.  Rob’s enthusiasm and experience in manager selection will enable us to keep on building in this area.”   Schroders’ Multi-Asset team has over 350 UK pension fund clients, many of which are invested in its flagship funds including the Schroder Diversified Growth Fund* and Schroder IF Diversified Completion, which is celebrating its third anniversary this year. **   Today’s announcement follows the appointment of Nicolaas Marais, who joined Schroders this week as Head of Multi-Asset Investments and Portfolio Solutions. Nico joins from BlackRock’s Multi-Asset Client Solutions Group where he was Global Head of Active Portfolio Management.
