Filip Palmans joined Bank of New York in 1995 where he held several positions with operating responsibility before being appointed tax department manager in 1998. He then became an account executive for Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourg institutional clients. In 2005, he joined Petercam as a senior institutional salesman in charge of Belgian, Spanish, British and Dutch clients.  
He joined Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management Benelux on December 1st as a senior institutional salesman. His mission is to reinforce Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management's franchise with institutions and pension funds in Belgium, Luxembourg and Holland and to market the firm's expertise in equity, convertible bond and asset allocation management.  
Through Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management Benelux, Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management offers investment solutions to institutional clients as well as to private banks and family offices in Benelux countries. Filip Palmans will report to Ludwig Caluwé, Managing Director of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management Benelux.
