DOMINIC ROSSI JOINS FIDELITY INTERNATIONAL AS GLOBAL CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER (CIO), EQUITIES

– Fidelity International is pleased to announce that Dominic Rossi will join the company, as Global Chief Investment Officer, Equities, subject to FSA approval. Rossi will join Fidelity from Gartmore Investment Management, where he is CIO and a Director of the company. He will report to Robert Higginbotham, CEO and President, Europe and will be responsible for Fidelity’s equity investment capabilities including portfolio management, research, derivatives, trading and corporate finance.

Prior to joining Gartmore, Rossi spent a decade at Threadneedle Asset Management, progressively responsible for Latin American and then Global and International equities, before becoming Head of Equities. Commenting on the appointment, Robert Higginbotham, President and CEO, Europe said: “Fidelity has one of the deepest equity research and portfolio management teams in the market.
